Control spot has a camera that takes a shot of the vehicle (1). The picture is digitalised (2) and with special programme equipment the licence plate is recognized (2). Programme equipment (OCR - Optical Caracter Recognition) identifies the number (ASCII) that is checked in the database by the computer(3). After the checking the set operation is done (4) (for instance lifting of a gate- 5). The picture and other information (number, owner, time, date,...) are saved in the computer so further analysis is possible.
